Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb cooked taco meat (beef or turkey)
  • 8 large flour tortillas (burrito size)
  • 16 oz refried beans
  • 1 cup taco sauce (mild, medium, or hot)
  • 3 cups shredded Mexican style cheese 2 to 4 cups
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • Sour cream, salsa, or guacamole for serving Optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 360 degrees F to ensure the tortilla starts crisping immediately.
  2. Place one flour tortilla flat in the bottom of the air fryer basket.
    8 large flour tortillas (burrito size)
  3. Spread an even layer of refried beans over the tortilla, followed by a layer of pre-cooked taco meat.

  4. Place a second flour tortilla directly on top of the meat and beans.

  5. Spread approximately 1/4 cup of taco sauce over the top tortilla, then sprinkle generously with shredded Mexican cheese.

  6. Close the air fryer and cook at 360 degrees F for 4 to 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Carefully remove the pizza using a large spatula, top with diced tomatoes, green onions, and black olives, and repeat for remaining pizzas.

Notes

For best results, do not overfill the tortillas to prevent sogginess and use a large spatula to remove the pizzas carefully. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheated in the air fryer at 350 degrees F.
